Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-year-old social media influencer known as Kandy Red Bread was arrested in Montgomery County on charges related to the sexual assault of a two-year-old child. Here's what may have happened.
On January sixteenth, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in Porter regarding a child sexual assault case. The investigation centered around Victor L. Corey Paillet the Third, a popular social media personality who operates under the name Kandy Red Bread and specializes in customizing cars with Houston-influenced modifications including slabs, candy paint and swangas. Paillet maintains a significant online following with over sixty-two thousand followers on Instagram.
According to investigators, the victim's mother had known Paillet for approximately two years. On the day in question, the mother asked Paillet to watch her children until her sister could arrive to pick them up so she could go to work. The mother later told authorities she experienced an unusual feeling that something wasn't right about the situation.
The mother stated, "I've never went through his phone before, never, but his phone was right there, and I'm like, I just feel something's not right." When she checked Paillet's phone, she discovered disturbing video evidence. "I clicked on that first video right there," she said, describing finding footage that was seven minutes and fifty-three seconds long, timestamped from the previous day at six forty-three in the morning.
The woman immediately contacted law enforcement. "And then I was like, we gotta call the cops so then we called immediately and they came right away," she explained. Deputies secured the scene and began an extensive investigation with assistance from the Special Victims Unit and Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Multiple search warrants were executed during the investigation. Paillet faces first-degree felony charges for promotion of child pornography. He is being held without bond and has been placed on modified safety watch in jail. Authorities note that Paillet has connections to the Houston area and Louisiana.
All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
