Welcome to Arrest Stories. A twenty-six-year-old man was arrested on Christmas night after allegedly breaking into two multimillion-dollar Golden Beach homes while completely naked. Here's what may have happened.
On December twenty-fifth, just before nine forty-five in the evening, officers in Golden Beach, Florida responded to a report of a naked white male at a residence in the one hundred block of Ocean Boulevard. The location was approximately six hundred feet from the police station.
When officers arrived, they found Vladimir Demidovich completely nude, hiding inside the garage of a twelve-million-dollar home. According to police reports, Demidovich told officers that his clothes were located at another home at one fifty-five Ocean Boulevard.
Officers proceeded to the second residence, which has a market value of more than thirty-seven million dollars according to Miami-Dade property records. Inside the mansion, police found Demidovich's clothing on the second floor. The house appeared disturbed and alcohol had been consumed throughout the property.
Police determined that Demidovich had entered both luxury homes without permission. The residences were unoccupied at the time of the alleged break-ins. Both properties are located on Ocean Boulevard, within the same block.
Demidovich was arrested and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief. The total damage amount was listed at fifteen thousand dollars.
This was not Demidovich's first alleged incident in the area. On June fifth, he had reportedly entered the Ocean Reserve Condominium and broke a mirror.
During booking, Demidovich posed for his mugshot without a shirt because jailers were unable to locate one for him to wear.
The Golden Beach Police Department processed the arrest on Christmas night. Demidovich remained in custody following the incident at the two Ocean Boulevard mansions.
