LANDSCAPER HURLS ROCKS AT ICE AGENTS IN SHOCKING PARKING LOT ATTACK

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A nineteen-year-old Florida man faces serious charges after allegedly hurling a landscaping rock through the rear window of a federal immigration vehicle following his father's arrest by agents in Port St. Lucie. Here's what may have happened.

According to official reports, the dramatic incident unfolded on October twenty-first at a Wawa parking lot when federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were conducting operations in the area. Velasquez Martin, nineteen years old, allegedly became enraged after witnessing his father being taken into custody by federal agents.

Police reports indicate that Martin picked up a landscaping rock from the north side of the parking lot and threw it directly at the occupied ICE vehicle as it drove by. The large rock struck the rear back window, completely shattering the glass and creating a dangerous situation for the federal agents inside.

After the initial attack, Martin attempted to flee the scene but was quickly tracked down by federal agents. Law enforcement located the suspect between a nearby MD Now clinic and PDQ restaurant, where he was taken into custody without further incident.

One witness who remained at the scene provided crucial testimony to investigators. Port St. Lucie police expressed their gratitude, stating, "We also want to once again thank our fantastic supportive community, as a witness stayed on scene to confirm Velasquez Martin was the individual who threw the large rock at law enforcement officers. Let this arrest serve as a reminder, that criminal activity such as this will not be tolerated in our city!"

According to police sources, Martin's motivation was clear. Officials reported that "He was upset about ICE taking his father" during the federal operation.

Martin now faces charges related to the destruction of federal property and endangering law enforcement officers. Bond has been set at twenty-five thousand dollars.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
